PREFACE

Having a boat means you are in for adventures. Most of the time, hopefully, your boat lets you enjoy adventures, but some times it feels like an adventure itself to have a boat. That is of course due to the people, materials and organizations involved, and, sometimes, you can just have hugely bad luck. The experience of the recent years told us that you should be grateful if your boat is available and you are able to enjoy it, but not take this for granted. If you can, make the best of your time; do not delay, opportunity goes and may not return.

The stories on this page were written with hindsight. Our recent seasons of Croatia cruising are chequered, until they finally draw to reconciliatory conclusion and fulfilment.
